How
the Service Can Help Professionals
It is acknowledged that dealing
with a child who has had someone close to them die may be a difficult
aspect of working life. Many professionals do not receive any training
on how to deal with such issues.
The Service is able to run training courses to suit the needs of
any group and has experience of teaching nurses, teachers and other
school staff, voluntary agencies and others who may face child bereavement
issues in their work. Such training is aimed at offering a clearer
understanding of the grief process and how it may affect children
and looks at ways of supporting bereaved children and their families.
Training courses can be run on your own premises and teaching is
carried out by highly experienced professionals with many years
of experience in child bereavement issues.
If you would like to arrange a training session, please contact
the Service to discuss your requirements.
